A csendes gyilkos néven ismert, a magas vérnyomás tünetei soha nem nyilvánvalóak. A probléma megismerésének egyetlen módja a vérnyomás mérése. Minden felnőttnek legalább ötévente ellenőriznie kell a vérnyomását. Ha még nem mérte a vérnyomását, vagy nem tudja, mennyi a vérnyomása, kérdezze meg orvosát, hogy ellenőrizze.

Mi a magas vérnyomás?

A vérnyomás azt méri, hogy a vér mennyi nyomást gyakorol az artériák falára (nagy erek), mivel a szíved az egész testébe pumpálja. Ha ez a nyomás túl magas, nyomást gyakorol az artériáira és a szívére, növelve annak valószínűségét, hogy szívrohama, stroke-ja vagy vesebetegsége lehet.

A vérnyomást Paray (Hgmm) milliméterben mérik, és két számjegyből áll:

  • Szisztolés nyomás: vérnyomás, amikor a szíve veri a vér leeresztését
  • Diasztolés nyomás: vérnyomás, amikor a szíve ellazul két ütés között

Például, ha az orvos azt mondja, a vérnyomás 90 és 140, vagy 140 / 90mhg, ez azt jelenti, hogy van egy szisztolés nyomás 140mhg és a diasztolés nyomás 90mhg.

Azt mondhatjuk, hogy magas vérnyomása van (orvosilag, hiper-feszültségben), ha különböző esetekben a mért értékek folyamatosan 140 / 90mhg vagy annál nagyobb vérnyomást mutatnak.

A vérnyomás 130 / 80mhg alatti értékekkel normálisnak tekinthető.

Ki a legnagyobb kockázat?

Ahogy az életkor növekszik, nagyobb valószínűséggel magas a vérnyomása. Gyakran nincs nyilvánvaló oka a magas vérnyomásnak, de nagyobb a kockázata annak, hogy megkapja, ha:

  • Túlsúlyosak
  • Van egy rokonod, akinek magas a vérnyomása
  • Afrikai vagy Karibi eredetű
  • Fogyasszon több sót
  • Ne egyen elég gyümölcsöt és zöldséget
  • Ne gyakoroljon elég
  • Igyál túl sok kávét (vagy más koffein alapú italokat)
  • Igyál túl sok alkoholt
    65 év felett
  • Ha a fenti csoportok bármelyikébe esik, fontolja meg életmódjának megváltoztatását a magas vérnyomás kockázatának csökkentése érdekében. Ellenőrizze a vérnyomást gyakrabban, ideális esetben évente egyszer.

Megelőzés és kezelés

A magas vérnyomás megelőzése érdekében a következő lépéseket teheti:

  • Fogyás, ha szükséges
  • Rendszeresen gyakoroljon
  • Egészséges ételek fogyasztása
  • Vágja le, ha túl sok alkoholt fogyaszt
  • A dohányzás abbahagyása
  • Vágó só és koffein
  • Tudjon meg többet arról, hogyan lehet megakadályozni a magas vérnyomást.

Ha magas a vérnyomása, fontos, hogy szorosan figyelemmel kísérje, amíg ellenőrzés alatt nem áll. Orvosa általában életmódváltást javasol, néha pedig gyógyszert, hogy helyrehozza.

A magas vérnyomásnak általában nincsenek nyilvánvaló tünetei, sokan még azt sem tudják, hogy van.

A kezeletlen magas vérnyomás súlyos betegségekhez vezethet, beleértve a stroke-ot és a szívbetegséget. Annak ismerete, hogy magas vérnyomása van-e, az egyetlen módja annak, hogy megmérje vérnyomását (amelyet orvosilag hiperfeszültségnek neveznek).Minden felnőttnek legalább ötévente ellenőriznie kell a vérnyomását.
